Two militants have been killed during an ongoing encounter in Tujjer area of north Kashmir’s Sopore town on Tuesday.
Official sources said that two militants have been killed so far and the third one is believed to be trapped inside. Earlier, the encounter started on Tuesday after a joint team of Army’s 22 Rashtriya Rifles, special operations group (SOG) and CRPF cordoned off the area.
However, the identification of the slain militants is yet to be ascertained.
Meanwhile, authorities have also snapped the internet services in the area for “security reasons.”
