SRINAGAR: Two militants were killed in an ongoing gunfight with the counter-insurgent forces in Srigufwara area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Monday, the army said.
Srinagar army spokesman said that two militants were killed so far in the ongoing encounter at Srigufwara.
“Two AK-47 recovered. Details follow,” said army spokesman in a statement.
Earlier, a police spokesman said a gunfight broke out between militants and forces in Srigufwara area of Anantnag.
