Army claimed to have killed two more militants in Rampur sector on Line of Control (LoC) in Baramulla district taking toll to six.
The militants were attempting to infiltrate, an army official said.
“Two more armed intruders eliminated in the ongoing op. Total six intruders killed,” Army’s northern command tweeted.
The operation is ongoing in the area Army officials said.
Earlier on Friday army said that an attack by Pakistan’s Border Action Team (BAT) was foiled and two militants were killed.
Meanwhile, another encounter is going on between militants and government forces in Saimu village of Tral in southern Kashmir.
