Spontaneous protests erupted at Government Degree College in Islamabad town of South Kashmir.

Reports said that a group of students resorted to stone pelting and raised pro-freedom slogans.

“They threw stones from inside the college premises towards the civilian vehicles plying on road outside the college,” SHO Islamabad, Ayaz Geelani told Kashmir Life.

The Principal of the college said that some students pelted stones on vehicles but overall situation is under control.

Meanwhile clashes were reported in Seer Hamadan area of Islamabad district.

An encounter is underway in Tral Tehsil of South Kashmir and top militant commander Sabzar is believed to be trapped inside the building at the center of encounter.
