SRINAGAR: Two more militants were killed in an encounter with the counter-insurgent forces in Mirhama area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district taking the death toll of militants to three, police said.

An official said that two more militants were killed in the gunfight in Mirhama area of Kulgam district.
He added that the identity and group affiliation of slain militants were being ascertained.
The search operation is on in the area and further details are awaited.
Earlier, police had said that one militant was killed in the encounter at Mirhama area of Kulgam.
