A day after the IAF strike at militant camps in Pakistan, an Indian army chopper crashed in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Wednesday morning, resulting in the death of the pilots.

Reports said that around 10: 30 this morning, IAF chopper was crashed at Garend Kalan, some 7 kilometres away from Budgam town. Soon after the incident, a team of police rushed to the spot to ascertain the facts, there are reportedly two causalities of pilots, however, officials have not revealed anything yet.

Meanwhile, the cross-border skirmishes continued till early morning however, there were no causalities reported from either side in the shelling. The tension between the two countries escalated further after the February 14, attack in Pulwama that claimed the life of 49 paramilitary men.

Delayed reports, quoting SSP Budgam said that IAF’s technical team will arrive and ascertain facts. Till now, we have found two bodies.
