SRINAGAR: Police have detained two Poonch youth while wandering around in a Rajasthan village, The Times of India reported from Jaisalmer. They were detained by the Military Intelligence and handed over to the local police.

Identified as Shawkat Husaia and Shoiit Hussain, the two residents of Poonch are ow being investigated by Sangad police. They were seen roaming in Rama village in the Fatehgarh subdivision. The newspaper said they were arrested along with Rs 26,000 which they had collected as donations for a madrasa.

The newspaper said that some youth from Poonch are routinely raising donations for religious purposes from the area.
