Two residential houses in Shaldajan-Nowshera area of Uri’s Boniyar were completely damaged in a blaze fire early Tuesday morning.
Reports reaching here said that in the twin double storeyed houses, three families were putting up.
One house belonged to Arif Khan, s/o Suliaman Khan. The other was used by two brothers Nisar Khan and Mushtaq Khan, sons of Alif Ud Din Khan.
The fire was dosed off by villagers themselves.
Pertinently, Uri has been witnessing frequent fire incidents in the recent past. The locals say, “in absence of fire station, lakhs of property is turning into ashes frequently in Uri.”
