SRINAGAR: Two wild bears were captured alive in just three hours at Yarmuqam and Gutlibagh villages of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Friday, an official said.

Quoting a wildlife official the news agency KNO reported that two wild bears were captured alive after officials of the department laid a cage following sightings of a wild bear by locals in Yarmuqam and Gutlibagh villages of Ganderbal.

He said that bears were captured alive after hectic efforts and were shifted to Dachigam National Park.

Pertinently, four bears have been captured in a different areas of Ganderbal in the last two days.
