SRINAGAR: Two young men were critically injured after being attacked with a sharp-edged weapon by unidentified assailants in the Baghat area of Srinagar on Monday, officials confirmed.
According to an official, the attack took place in Barzulla, where the victims were suddenly assaulted. “Both individuals sustained injuries and were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment,” the official said.
The injured have been identified as, Muneeb Feroz (17) – resident of Rawatpora and Shadab Ashraf (21) – resident of Rawatpora, Baghat.
Meanwhile, police have registered an FIR and launched an investigation into the incident. Efforts are underway to identify and apprehend the culprits.
