SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir higher education department has announced the publication of the Round-2 College/Major Allotment List for Undergraduate (UG) and Integrated Postgraduate (IPG) admissions for the academic session 2026-27, directing allotted candidates to complete admission formalities within the stipulated timeline.
Spokesperson in the office of directorate of Colleges JK in a statement said, admission process for the Undergraduate (UG)/Integrated P.G (IPG) programmes of Government Degree Colleges of JK for the Academic Session 2026–27 was initiated vide Admission Advertisement Notice No. DC-HE/2026/1469 dated 02-05-2026 issued by the Directorate of Colleges.
The last date for submission of online applications and preferences was subsequently extended up to 30-05-2026 vide Notice No. DC-HE/2026/1664 dated 27-05-2026, in view of the representations received from aspirants. Thereafter, the Round-1 College/Major Allotment List was published on the Centralised Admission Portal, https://jkadmissions.in vide Notice No: DC-HE/2026/1700 dated 02-06-2026.
In view of subsequent representations, the last date for online fee deposition for Round-1 allotted candidates was extended up to 08-06-2026, 5:00 PM, and the schedule for physical document verification at the allotted colleges was correspondingly extended vide DC-HE/2026/1720 dated 06-06-2026.
Further, candidates who had not been allotted any college/programme in Round-1 were provided an opportunity to update their college/programme preferences from 08-06-2026 to 10-06-2026 on the Admission Portal, so as to be considered for allotment in Round-2.
It is now, hereby notified that the Round-2 Allotment List (Upgradation and Fresh Allotment) shall be published on the Centralised Admission Portal, https://jkadmissions.in, on 13-06-2026 at 5:00 PM. Allotted candidates may log in to the portal to check their allotment status and proceed with the prescribed admission formalities.
The procedure for Round-2 shall be similar to that of Round-1. Candidates allotted a seat in Round-2 shall be required to confirm their allotment by depositing the prescribed admission fee online and completing physical verification of original documents at the allotted college within the prescribed schedule. There shall be no ‘Opt for Upgradation’ option in Round-2.

Failure to complete the admission formalities within the prescribed schedule shall result in cancellation of the Round-2 allotment, and the seat shall be released for the Spot Round.
The Spot Round for filling up vacant seats remaining after the conclusion of Round-2 and shall be notified separately on the Admission Portal.
Giving important Instructions, Any incorrect claim relating to marks, category, eligibility, or other admission-related information may lead to rejection of candidature at any stage; Candidates must use a valid mobile number and email address for all admission-related communications.
Applicants are advised to regularly visit the Admission Portal for updates, notices, merit lists, and schedules; No request for change of merit-related information shall be entertained. The decision of the Admission Committee / Competent Authority on eligibility, merit, verification, and seat allotment shall be final and binding.
