Amid the complete shutdown in the poll-bound areas of the valley, the second phase of civic polls are going on from today morning all over the state. A mixed response was observed from different districts of the valley, while in Jammu people tuned out in hoards to cast the vote.

1126 votes have been polled in Sumbal Municipal committee area till 10 am on Wednesday.

Officials said that the poll percentage stands at 14.16 till 10 am.

They said that among 1126 votes, 623 males and 503 females have cast their votes.

Earlier, the Chief Electoral Officer, J&K released a list of votes being cast all over the state till 10 am.

In Srinagar 1850, (1.04 percent) people cast the vote in Srinagar, Islamabad 215 (0.65 percent), Watergam 03 (1.1 percent), Langate 15 (2.4 percent), till 10 am.

In Kashmir, the highest number of votes were casted in Sumbal and lowest were recorded in Watergam area of Baramulla.
