Questioning police’s failure to resolve the mystery of the murder of eight years old Umer Farooq who was murdered in Gulgam, Kupwara on July 21, 2018, AIP President and MLA Langate Er Rasheed on Sunday appealed authorities to deliver the justice without further excuses and delay.
The spokesman accused authorities of not taking desired interests to find out the truth. “Police authorities need to be reminded of their assurances and promises pertaining to the most brutal and inhumane death mystery of Umer Farooq which had shaken the conscience of masses not only in Kashmir but outside the state as well,” the spokesman quoted Er Rasheed as saying.
Rasheed said that even after months now police has made nothing public except hollow promises and people have every reason to be angry and doubt the designs and intentions of the investigating agency.
