SRINAGAR: An unexploded shell was found on Thursday in the Dakhi area of Mendhar in Poonch district.
Officials said that the shell was discovered by locals this morning amid ongoing shelling by the Pakistani army.
The locals informed the police about its presence. Police and security forces reached the spot soon after.
Efforts are underway to defuse the shell. Further details are awaited. (GNS)
