The nearly 70,000 thousand posts lying vacant in different departments will be filled soon; this was stated by minister for Finance and Ladakh Affairs Abdul Rahim Rather in the Legislative Assembly.  Rather in his statement said that the only difficulty that the Government  has as of now is the stay order on the new employment policy. “Government will fast track selection process to fill up about 70,000 posts lying vacant in different departments as soon as the court stay on the new employment policy gets vacated,” Rather informed the assembly.

Replying to Supplementaries on the question of T. Namgyal in Legislative Assembly, Rather said that the Government had formulated new employment policy which was challenged in High Court Wings of both Kashmir and Jammu. He said the stay order has been vacated from Srinagar High Court Wing, adding that the recruitment process would be get accelerated as soon as the stay order is got vacated from the Jammu wing.

The Minister said that there are 168 posts lying vacant in different departments in Sub-Division, Nobra, adding that recruitment process is underway to fill-up these posts. Assuring that the employees attached outside Nobra Sub-Division would be detached, the Minister said that there are thirteen employees from different departments attached outside the Sub-Division, Nobra.
