Vigilance Organization Jammu on Friday arrested a KAS officer while accepting a bribe from a retired colonel for renewal of license of his wine shop.
Official sources said that KAS Officer Syed Mureed Hussain Shah, DC Excise Jammu, who had joined today at Director Land Management at Jammu Development Authority was caught red-handed and arrested by trap team of Vigilance Organization Jammu, while accepting bribe money of Rs 2 lakh, from a retired Colonel for renewal of license of his wine shop.
Vigilance team are reportedly now raiding and searching the KAS officer’s house at Paloura, Jammu.
