Resenting the statement of Abdul Majid Wani, the R&B minister against his colleague minister Sajjad Ahmad Kitchloo, leaders and workers of National Conference in Kishtwar Tuesday appealed the Chief Minister to look into the matter immediately in the interest of the people of Kishtwar.

According to a press statement an emergency meeting was held in Kishtwar under the leadership of Vikram Parihar, NC’s youth leader in which a large number of senior NC workers and leaders from different areas including Marwah, Warwan, Dachhan, Paddar and Kishtwar participated.

Vikram has said that the workers and leaders showed their resentment against Abdul Majid Wani for leveling baseless allegations and using the words as ‘arrogant’ which does not suit the personality of Sajjad Ahmed Kitchloo being a very humble and kind hearted human being.

He said, “the news report has hurt the sentiments of entire Kishtwar constituency as the people here have a lot of respect and regard for the Kitchloo family.”

He further added that Kitchloo family has been “serving the National Conference since 1952 as Sajjad Ahmed Kitchloo’s father late B A Kitchloo had been a veteran leader and served the party in the capacity of being its General Secretary and Minister even during the heightened of the militancy without caring for his and family life.”

He also said that following his father foot prints Sajjad Ahmed Kitchloo also represented the National Conference since 1996 and he was the only NC leader to win in the entire Chenab Valley for three times in Assembly polls.

He further said, “His (Sajjad) success is not being digested by the opponent political party and politicians besides vested interests. It is this reasons that R&B Minister has leveled baseless, irresponsible statement which is against the Coalition Dharma.” And added, “Those who face probes in State Accountability Commission (SAC) and serious allegations besides FIRs cannot teach lessons to others.”
