PDP candidate for Srinagar Lok Sabha seat, Tariq Hamid Karra, wished to join the ruling NC only six months back but the NC leadership did not allow him to join. This was revealed by NC President Dr Farooq Abdulla while addressing an election rally in Kangan on Monday.
“Karra was knocking the doors of NC only six years months earlier he even approached our party provincial president Nasir Aslam Wani, but we did not allow his entry,” adding, “Our another provincial president Davinder Singh Rana, enjoyed Kabab’s and Pastery sent to him by Karra even then he was not allowed to join NC.”
“So how would you trust a man who does not trust his own party,” Farooq asked the gathering.
Former finance minister in PDP regime Karra is contesting Srinagar Lok Sabha seat against NC President Farooq.
