SRINAGAR

Alleging former army chief, VK Singh of damaging the prestige of J&K legislature, Finance Minister, Abdul Rahim Rather said that the state assembly should ask VK Singh to come clear about the names who received funds from army.

“We are not going to leave VK Singh, we will make him stand in this house because he has damaged not only the J&K legislature, but the whole country and the army as well,” Rather said.

He appealed the speaker that full time should be provided to discuss the privilege motion brought in the assembly.

Rather also demanded a free and fair investigation in the allegations leveled by VK Singh.
