The weatherman Sonam Lotus Sunday said that the weather will remain cloudy for next five days with occasional sunshine. The MeT director ruled out the possibility of further precipitation during the period.
“Though rain lashes many parts of valley today with snowfall on higher reaches,” Sonum Lotus said, “but there is no possibility of further precipitation in coming days—although the weather will stay cloudy with occasional sunshine.”
Meanwhile despite shower this morning, the Srinagar-Jammu Highway is open for traffic, Traffic control department said. “The road is in good condition right now and we are keeping close vigil on it.”
