Fire erupted Sunday in the residential house of Mohammad Yasin Bhat at Shaheed Gunj area of Srinagar engulfing it completely.
Fire tenders have been rushed to the spot to douse the flames. “We have rushed ten fire tenders to the spot,” said an official of the Fire and Emergency services department.
Due to heavily populated area the firemen are finding it hard to control the blazes, he said.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known. However, no loss of life or injury was reported in the incident so far.
