Senior APHC leaders Javaid Ahmad Mir and Moulana Mohammad Abbas Ansari Wednesday led a peaceful protest demonstration on the eve of World Human Rights Day at Srinagar and highlighted the human rights violations done in Kashmir from last 25 years.
“Malala Yousuf Zai represents internationally the aspirations of youths and child,” asserted Mir. “But in Kashmir and Palestine, thousands of children and innocent youths has been killed from last seven decades much to the ignorance of world human rights organisation.”
Mir along with APHC supporters staged a peaceful protest outside Mirwaiz Manzil Rajouri Kadal.
“While thousand of youths disappeared in Kashmir,” Mir said, “dozens of unidentified graves recovered, episodes just like Kananposh Pora, thousands of Kashmiri youths and pro-freedom leaders still in prisons, world human rights organisations failed to take any notice. Where are human rights organsations?”
