Questioning absence of NC leader Omar Abdullah and Congress leader Gh Nabi Azad from Islamabad by-poll campaigning in, AIP chief and MLA Langate Er Sheikh Ab Rasheed Tuesday appealed people of Islamabad to “understand” that all these parties are “two sides of same coin”.

Addressing public meetings at Fatehpur Gund, Pethbug, Ukjan, Chichiripora and various other places today, Rasheed reminded NC and Congress leadership about their “sermons” that PDP-BJP alliance is “destructive for the state”.

“It was Congress and NC leaders who were shouting day and night against radical and communal agenda of PDP-BJP alliance and now when the commander in chief of the RSS-BJP alliance Ms Mehbooba Mufti is seeking votes in the name of alliance, neither Sonia Gandhi nor Farooq Abdullah, Gh Nabi Azad nor Omar Abdullah are there on the ground zero to fight the communal and anti-Muslim forces,” Rasheed said.

“They may give a dozen excuses but the fact is that J&K is being run by agencies and they have communicated to top leadership of both these parties that they should not create any hurdles in Mehbooba’s victory, as Indian state wants to prove Mehbooba’s victory of Indian State against Kashmiris,” he alleged.

The Langate lawmaker added, “though Kashmiris had never expected anything good from NC and Congress but they have proven themselves that whatsoever they were accusing PDP-BJP alliance is only for public consumption and nothing beyond.”
