SRINAGAR: Democratic Progressive Alliance Party (DPAP) Chairman Ghulam Nabi Azad on Wednesday said that his party would bring back the Roshini Act if voted back to power.

Azad while addressing various delegations of the ST community in Jammu said, “If voted to power in elections, we will bring back the Roshni Act Scheme that had benefited thousands of poor people across Jammu and Kashmir.”

Azad also held a meeting of office bearers from Jammu and instructed them to intensify the party activities and ensure more and more people are join DPAP in Jammu and Kashmir.

Azad stated said that DPAP was fully aware and informed about the problems faced by the people of  Jammu and Kashmir. “We will reach out to every corner of the UT to engage with people so that issues on the ground people are facing shall be addressed.”
