SRINAGAR: The government on Friday announced winter vacation for schools in Kashmir and in winter zones of Jammu.
According to Government Order No. 277-Edu of 2020, it is hereby ordered that all the Government Educational Institutions including recognized Private Schools up to Higher Secondary functioning in the Kashmir Division and winter zone of Jammu Division shall observe winter vacation w.e.f from December 21, 2020, to February 28, 2021.
However, winter tutorials for class-11 to 12th and online classes for all classes shall be held by strictly adhering the SOPs of Covd-19 issued by the Government from time to time.
Any default on part of the Head of the School(s) in observance at’ the calendar and SOPs of Covd-19 shall attract strict action under rules, reads the order.
