SRINAGAR: A women and three other persons were injured in a road accident near JNV Putushai in Lolab area of Kupwara district this morning.
An official said that a car bearing registration number JK09B 3517 was on way to Kupwara when a driver lost control and the car turned into a turtle.
He said that the deceased was identified as Zoona Begum wife of Abul Khaliq and the injured persons were identified as Naseer Ahmad, his wife Jameela Begum and Shubeena Begum all residents of Cheepora area of Lolab.
He added that all the injured persons were evacuated to hospital for treatment.
Police has registered a case in this regard and started a further investigation.
