SRINAGAR: A woman died after a tree fell on her during sudden gusty winds in the Tral area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Tuesday evening.
Sources said the deceased has been identified as Saleema, a resident of Tral.
The incident occurred when strong winds swept through the area, causing the tree to collapse, they said.
Authorities have taken cognisance of the incident, and further investigation is underway.
Parts of Jammu and Kashmir have been witnessing gusty winds and heavy rainfall over the past few hours. (JKNS)
