SRINAGAR: A woman and her two children jumped into a water canal in Wurpash area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Thursday, officials said.
According to officials, the woman, along with her son and daughter, jumped into the canal on Thursday.
Police and local residents responded swiftly, rescuing all three and shifting them to a nearby hospital for treatment. Their condition is reported to be stable.
The woman has been identified as Tasleema.
