SRINAGAR: Ahead of Prime Minister Modi’s scheduled visit to Ayodhya, four individuals from Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district have been arrested by the police in Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
The detainees, including a woman, were picked up from a local hotel on Friday night as part of heightened security measures.
Nasir Khuehami, the Convener of the Jammu and Kashmir Student Association, stated that they have taken up the matter with the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister’s office. “The issue will be resolved by morning. It was done due to heightened security measures ahead of PM Modi’s visit,” Nasir said.
