SRINAGAR: The University Grants Commission (UGC) invites scholarship applications for postgraduate students on the National Scholarship Portal (NSS).
Indian citizens below the age of 30, who have secured admission in the first year of Postgraduate programme at a recognized university/college are eligible to apply. The annual family income of the candidates should be less than 2’50’000 INR.
Students enrolled in a Postgraduate programme through open/distance/ private, or part-time modes are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.
Scholars will be selected on the basis of the merit, except in case of single/twin girl child. The selected scholars will receive a monthly financial allowance of 15,000 INR for 10 months for a duration of 2 years.
The documents required for the scholarship include Aadhaar card, Proof of admission, Fee slip, and Bank account details of the institution and the student.
