SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Friday issued messages calling for collective action to protect the environment, underscoring the need for sustainable development and preservation of nature for future generations.
In his World Environment Day message, LG Sinha urged citizens to rededicate themselves to conserving Mother Earth and maintaining the ecological balance, stressing that collective efforts were vital for the well-being of humanity and a healthier planet for future generations.
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, in his message, reaffirmed his government’s commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable development, while calling upon all citizens to actively participate in the mission to protect natural resources.
