A wreath-laying event was held at DPL Islamabad to pay homage to the slain SPO Bilal Ahmad Shah son of Mohammad Abbas resident of Ganigund Verinag, who lost his life in an attack by suspected militants near Padshahi Bagh Bejbehara area of district Islamabad, the police spokesman said.

“DIG SKR Amit Kumar led the Police and Civil officers and officials in laying the floral tributes on the mortal remains of the slain SPO,” the spokesman said.
“SSP Islamabad Altaf Ahmad Khan, DC Anantnag Mohammad Younis, SP HQRS Islamabad Tahir Ashraf, senior Army/CRPF officers and jawans were among the others who laid floral wreaths on the mortal remains of the slain SPO,” he added.
The spokesman said Bilal Ahmad who was a native of Ganigund Verinag, is survived by an unmarried sister, aged parents, and a grandmother.
