A wreath-laying event was held on Sunday in District Police Lines Srinagar where tributes were paid to the slain DySP Aman Kumar son of Swami Raj resident of Gogla district Doda, who was killed during an encounter at Turigam district Kulgam.

DGP Dilbagh Singh with other senior officers carries the coffin of slain DySP Aman Kumar.

A police spokesperson in a statement said that civil and Police Officers led by DGP J&K Police Dilbagh Singh-IPS, IGP Ops CRPF Zulfikar Hassan-IPS, Div Com Kashmir Baseer Ahmad Khan, IGP Kashmir S. P. Pani, IG CRPF Ravideep Sahai, Range DIsG, DC Srinagar Shahid Iqbal Chowdhary laid floral wreaths on the mortal remains and paid tributes to the slain for his supreme sacrifice made in the line of duty.

“Among others who paid floral tributes to the martyr include senior officers of CAPF, SSP Srinagar Haseeb Mughal, SSP Security Imtiyaz Hussain, SSP SBK Showket Hussain Shah, SP Ganderbal Khalil Poswal, SSP Anti-high-jacking Srinagar Harmeet Singh, other officers and cops of the district police and other forces,” said the spokesman.

Senior police and civil officers paid tributes to the slain DySP at Srinagar.

The spokesman said that the slain DySP Aman Kumar is survived by aged parents, wife Sarla Devi and 6-year-old son Arya.
