MalikJKLF chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik along with a delegation was Tuesday arrested on way to Sopore.

“Malik and others were stopped by police near Tarzoo Sopore and arrested,” JKLF spokesperson said in a statement. “They have been lodged at police station Sopore.”

Malik, the spokesperson said, was going to Sopore to express condolences to the families of those who have been “martyred brutally” at Pattan yesterday.

Earlier Malik called for a Kashmir shutdown tomorrow against the “cold-blooded murder” of three youths in Pattan area and one more today at Tengmarg in Baramulla district.
