Police on Monday arrested Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front chairperson Muhammad Yasin Malik from his party office at Abi Guzar in Lalchowk area of Srinagar city.

A spokesperson of JKLF told Kashmir Life that a posse of police reahed the JKLF office and arrested Malik.

He was shifted to Central Jail Srinagar, he said.

Pertinently, the United Jihad Council has issued a weeklong program at the first death anniversary of Hizb commander Burhan Wani starting from July 8.
