Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik, who is presently on visit to Pakistan, will be arriving in New Delhi on March 9, sources told KNS.

His arrival is expected to attract attention in view of right wing parties including the main opposition Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) having raised voices demanding his arrest on arrival from Pakistan. Malik had landed in the midst of controversies when the chief of Jamait-ul-Dawa, Hafiz Muhammad Sayeed appeared at the venue of his hunger strike in Islamabad last month, against hanging of Muhammad Afzal Guru.

The rightwing parties had demanded that Malik should be arrested as soon as he lands in New Delhi for “sharing the stage” with Hafiz Sayeed.

However, speaking to media persons from Islamabad, Malik had responded saying that Jail is his second home and he is not afraid of getting arrested.

Meanwhile, JKLF sources confirmed the scheduled arrival of Malik in New Delhi. “He will be arriving from Lahore in the afternoon of March 9”, they added.
