Yatra 2018: 3708 Pilgrims leaves Jammu amid tight security

A fresh batch of 3708 Pilgrims left Jammu for the  Amarnath yatra on Wednesday morning in 139 vehicles.

Reports said that 2030 yatris comprising 218 females left base camp in Jammu for Pahalgam route at 3:40 am.

They said 1678 yatris comprising 404 females left for Baltal route at 2:20 am in 71 vehicles.

The 60-day Yatra will end on August 26, coinciding with the Shravan Purnima festival

Meanwhile, CRPF convoy escorted the pilgrims to the Kashmir valley.
