Yatra Preparations: LG Sinha Visits Baltal, Stresses Infrastructure Completion

   

SRINAGAR: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday visited the Baltal axis in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district to review the ongoing preparations for the upcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra. During his visit, he inspected the Disaster Management Centre and the Yatri Niwas Complex of the Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board.

The Lieutenant Governor reviewed the progress of infrastructure development and directed concerned officials to ensure timely completion of all works aimed at improving facilities for pilgrims.

At Domail, LG Sinha interacted with members of the task force and Border Roads Organisation (BRO) staff engaged in repair and maintenance of the yatra track. He appreciated their efforts and emphasised the need to maintain high standards of safety and efficiency.

He was accompanied by senior officials, including SJM Gillani, MD of JK Police Housing Corporation; Dr Mandeep K Bhandari, Principal Secretary to the LG and CEO of the Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board; Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir; VK Birdi, IGP Kashmir; Jatin Kishore, Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal; and other senior administrative and police officers.
