SRINAGAR
Youth Information Centre (YIC) of Pattan block organized an awareness programme on Free Legal Aid at village Tricolbal in collaboration with Pattan Tehsil Legal Aid Committee.
Chairman of Tehsil Legal Aid Committee and Sub Judge Pattan M.A. Al Nasir was the chief guest and Pattan Bar Association President, Mohd Maqbool Khan and Secretary Pattan Bar Association Javed Ahmed Parry provided the information on ways to avail free legal aid.
Around 100 villagers including women and young girls attended the programme.
Later, M.A.Al Nasir had one to one interaction with people and deliberated upon the issues raised by people.
Pertinently, Youth Information Centres are promoted jointly by Indo-Global Social Service Society (IGSSS) and Welthungerhilfe under financial support from European Union in Pattan, SInghpora and Sonwari blocks of Baramulla and Bandipora districts.
