Police have booked a youth under Public Safety Act (PSA) in south Kashmir and shifted him to Kot Bhalwal Jail in Jammu, news gatherer GNS quoted an official source as saying.
They said Muzamil Ganie, son of Ghulam Mohd Ganie,a resident of Chatpora village of Pulwama was shifted to Kot Bhalwal last evening after he was arrested by police last week and booked under PSA for his alleged role in pelting stones on the forces.
Family members, however, refuted the police claim that the youth was involved in stone pelting. (GNS)
