SRINAGAR: A youth died in a tractor accident at Hayan area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as Mashooq Ahmad Ganie, son of Yaseen Ahmad Ganie, a resident of Trehgam, Kupwara.
According to reports, the incident took place when the tractor he was travelling on overturned at Hayan, resulting in his death on the spot.
The incident has triggered grief among residents of Trehgam and adjoining areas.
