SRINAGAR: A youth died and another was injured after receiving an electric shock while working in the Shundi Thayan Kalaroos area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Tuesday evening. The deceased has been identified as Aijaz Ahmad Malik, son of Mohammad Shafi Malik.
The Medical Superintendent of District Hospital Handwara confirmed that Aijaz was brought dead to the hospital.
The other individual injured in the incident is undergoing treatment. (KB)
