A 22 years old boy Muzaffar Ahamd Shah son of Bashir Ahamd Shah resident of Zurbaran Bijbehara got drowned in river Jhelum near Zirpora while having a bath, sources said on Monday.

Police is on job to fish out the body from the river, they added.

Meanwhile, two persons died while seven others were injured in different road traffic accidents across the valley.

A Tipper bearing registration number 1253/01B hit a scooter at Naraspora bridge in Budgam, resulting in on spot death of the scooterist 22 years old Umer Rashid Kumar son of Abdul Rashid resident of Ompora, Budgam.

A platform truck bearing registration number JK01/8836 turned turtle at Wagabal, Thimbran, in Achabal, Islamabad resulting in injuries to the driver. He was shifted to PHC Chittergul where he succumbed to his injuries.

In another accident, seven persons were injured when a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK096/1145, they were travelling in turned turtle near JK Cement Factory Khrew, in Pampore.  All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
