SRINAGAR
The eight-day youth festival Sonzal-2017 concluded at the University of Kashmir on Monday.
The spokesman quoted Vice-Chancellor Professor Andrabi saying “the youth festivals provide an opportunity to students from varied backgrounds and disciplines to interact with each other as well as showcase their talent”.
Hundreds of students from 40-degree colleges and 45 university teaching departments competed in different competitions including a quiz, debate, elocution, poster-making, painting, cartoon-making, rangoli, clay-modelling, spot photography, one-act play, mimicry, classical, folk and instrumental music.
