SRINAGAR: An 18-year-old youth has gone missing from frontier village Tarbal of Gurez sector in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district which police believes might have accidentally crossed the border.
“The youth identified as Mohammad Sayed Ganie son of Ghulam Majeed Ganie has gone missing from his home on Sunday,” an official told news gathering agency KDC.
Meanwhile, the family has lodged a formal missing complaint in the nearby police station on Tuesday.
One of the family members of the Sayed Ganie told the news agency that he left the home on Sunday and didn’t return back
A senior police officer while confirming the incident and said that the family has approached the police in this regard and efforts are on trace him, but it seems that the youth might have accidentally crossed the border.
