Youth who sustained critical injuries after being shot at by unknown gunmen in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district lost his battle with the injuries this morning at Srinagar SMHS hospital.
A 25-year-old identified as Sameer Ahmad Ahanger, a resident of Mir Sahab Mohalla, in Old Town Baramulla was fired upon by unknown gunmen at his home. In the incident, Sameer sustained critical injuries.
Sameer was subsequently evacuated to a nearby hospital and then Srinagar’s SMHS for advanced treatment. However, Sameer lost his battle with injuries on Monday early morning.
In this regard, police have registered a case, and further investigations were taken up.
