A youth was injured during clashes with the government forces in Kakapora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday.
Sources said that youth took to streets and clashed with the party of army’s 50 RR after the latter launched a cordon-and-search-operation in Kisrigam village of Kakapora.
The injured youth has identified as Sameer Ahmad Sheikh son of Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh.
He suffered an injury in his left foot and was rushed to the nearby hospital, where from he was referred to Bone and Joints Hospital Barzulla Srinagar for specialized treatment, said an official.
