SRINAGAR: A 21-year-old youth was injured in a bear attack in the Lar area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Monday.
The injured was identified as Shamji Bhat, son of Munuji Bhat and a resident of Lar.
Sources said the youth was attacked by a bear in the Bagh Lar area. He was subsequently taken to District Hospital Ganderbal, where he received first aid before being referred to SKIMS Soura in Srinagar for further treatment.
