The students of Kashmir University Friday assembled outside the Jamia Masjid in the campus after congregational prayers and offered Funeral payers in absentia to the slain militant commander Zakir Musa.
Zakir Rashid Bhat alias Zakir Musa was killed in a gunfight with government forces on Friday morning in Dadsara village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
An eyewitness said soon after the Friday prayers the students assembled outside the masjid and held prayers in absentia for the slain militant commander.
He said the students later dispersed peacefully.
