Prominent writer, news reader and artist Ghulam Nabi Baba, 91, passed away Wednesday afternoon.
According to family sources, Baba was not keeping well from last many months.
A resident of Nowhatta, Baba was buried in his ancestral graveyard at Bahu-ud-din sahab (RA).
Among the books written by Baba, the noted ones are Sathseder (Seven Seas) and Yate Na Bakaya Haba (Nothing in this world will last forever). Baba has started writing since 1949. He has also written for programees Kath Bath and Zoneh Dab.
In his area, the deceased was fondly called ‘Baba Sir’. He is survived by his neice and adopted son, Danish.
